Switchfoot Switchfoot

Title: The Beautiful Letdown

Release date: January 2003

Production: John Fields is the producer. There is a lot more instrumentation than on any previous Switchfoot record.

The Buzz: This rock album, replete with pop hooks, will be a much bigger sounding record, still keeping the signature Switchfoot melodies. A brand new version of "Dare You To Move" will be included. "Meant To Live" and "Ammunition" will be the first two radio singles.

Title: All About Love

Release date: January 2003

Production: The album is being co-produced by Brown Bannister (Avalon, Point Of Grace) and Steven Curtis Chapman. What's interesting is Chapman's wife, Mary Beth, is the executive producer.

The Buzz: Centered on the theme of relationships and love, this project includes songs that Chapman wrote to his wife of 18 years, Mary Beth, and songs that reflect Christ's commandment to "love one another." A collection of 15 songs, the album offers 11 new tunes, three cover songs and one remake of Chapman's hit, "I Will Be Here."

Natalie Grant Natalie Grant

Title: The Deeper Life

Release date: February 2003

Production: Unlike many of her vocal peers in music, Grant is very hands on, co-writing and co-producing nearly every track on The Deeper Life. Production credits include Eric Foster White (Whitney Houston, Jessica Simpson), Bernie Herms (Plus One, Rachael Lampa) and Phil Symonds (SHeDAISY).

The Buzz: The Deeper Life is a more organic recording for Grant, featuring less fancy production elements. Instead, it is focused on Grant's strong songwriting and her unmistakable vocals.

Plumb Plumb

Title: Beautiful Lumps Of Coal

Release date: February 2003

Production: Plumb produced some of the tracks, and Jay Joyce (Patti Griffin, Ruby Horse) produced the remainder of the songs.

The Buzz: Plumb wrote all of the songs for this new album, collaborating on a few with Jay Joyce and former producer Matt Bronleewe. The first single, "Sink or Swim," will be released for radio play prior to the album launch.
