8. How did you come to know the Lord? — Allison Wong, Sunnyvale, Calif.
As young children, we all accepted Jesus as our savior. However, as we got into our teen years, our parents challenged us to develop a faith of our own and not depend on their faith to carry us through life. In our mid-teens, each of us had a recommitment experience with God, where he truly became our savior, our friend and our Lord.
9. What are your similarities and differences? — Tara Erich, Ewa Beach, Hawaii
We are all very different. Rebecca is shy and deep. She has been given the gift of wisdom. The way Rebecca plays guitar and writes music is very characteristic of her personality: She is strong and driven, yet can be very tender and emotional. Alyssa is a leader. She sees the big picture and makes sure things are on time and in place. Alyssa is our stage leader and presses into God to know how to reach the audience. Lauren is extremely passionate and full of life; she has so much energy. Lauren loves to laugh and stir things up, which actually makes her a better drummer!

Our dad was the children’s music director at our church in the Chicago area and we were all involved in singing and playing there. One day we realized, “I think we are a band!”
