Christian and Country media have been supportive of
Jesus Is Coming with Infuze.com saying, "
Jesus Is Coming is a surprisingly strong album of songs, featuring a traditional range of sounds with good writing and performances all around." CelebrityCafe.com exclaims, "The Bellamy Brothers already have a rich musical history and
Jesus Is Coming does nothing but add to that." ChristianMusicToday.com continues, "Nice to hear a country music album expressing Christian faith in a way that's characteristic of the genre: personable, meaningful, and charming." And Bob Oerrmann gives a glowing review of the single, “Drug Problem.” "His “drug” problem is that he was drug to church, drug to school, drug to the woodshed, drug to family reunions and drug to all kinds of other character-building things. The track is airy and open and marked by dobro notes “answering” the vocal phrasing. Very listenable."
