ISRAEL RELEASES WORSHIP LEADER EDITION OF SOLO CD

The brand-new Israel Houghton solo CD, The Power of One, is becoming such a hit at churches across the globe that Integrity is releasing a “Worship Leader Edition.” The collection is packed with additional extras, including video content and a variety of resource material to equip the local church to bring this diverse body of work to life at a local congregation.

MUTE MATH’S STREET DATE

After tremendous anticipation and rumblings that Mute Math was in the studio, the group finally announced a street date for its second full-length offering. The dozen track Armistice (Teleprompt/Warner Bros.) officially hits street August 18 under the production helm of Dennis Herring (Elvis Costello, Modest Mouse, The Hives).

John Mandeville has written a slew of chart toppers for Point of Grace, Avalon, 4HIM and a ton of other Christian music luminaries, though he’s just released the worship-tinted artist debut We Belong to Heaven on I.P.O. Records. Fans hoping for a sneak peak at the sophisticated contemporary project can score a sample on ipo-records.com through the site’s iPod player and even download the current single, “Glorify” through this week’s reader newsletter.

A JUDDS MUSEUM EXHIBIT

Spiritually-centered country stars The Judds are celebrating their 25th anniversary in grand style. Not only will the duo be participating in a rare autograph appearance this Saturday, June 13 at the CMA Music Fest, but the pair just launched its very own museum exhibit in Music City. During the fan-favorite festival this weekend, everything from old photographs to outfits to memorabilia and historical artifacts are on display at the former Gray’s Drug Store in historic downtown Franklin, Tenn.
