A NEW KNAPP ATTACK
All eyes were on
Jennifer Knapp's recent comeback concert in Los Angeles, but the previously reclusive singer/songwriter is proving that was more than a mere one off. She's since added a Nashville date to the books at the Belcourt Theatre on November 18, along with the promise of a new studio CD currently in the works for 2010.

Ending is Beginning), "Song of the Year" ("Here I Am"), "Recorded Song of the Year" ("Here I Am"), "Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year" ("Ending Is Beginning"), "Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year" ("Here I Am"), "Rock Song of the Year" ("My Last Amen"), "Seasonal Song of the Year" ("How Many Kings") and "Inspirational Song of the Year" ("The Beggar Who Gave Alms").

TV TIME WITH STRYPER
Earlier this week,
Stryper followed in the footsteps of
Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump and
Tim McGraw as celebrity guests on the nationally syndicated TV show "Daytime." The hard rock trailblazers performed an acoustic version of the
Boston cover "Peace of Mind" (off its latest CD
Murder By Pride), along with the golden oldies "Solders Under Command."
A MAJOR HIT FOR MANDEVILLE
Remember when we mentioned songwriter (
4HIM, Avalon, Point of Grace) turned solo artist
John Mandeville had yet another hit on his hands with "Glorify" off his debut disc
We Belong To Heaven? Well, that single's still riding high above the
Billboard Soft AC/Inspirational charts, peaking at number two this week marking its tenth straight week in the top twenty.
