Jennifer Knapp is coming out of retirement. However, fans are sure to be rejoicing over the brand-new news that she'll be recording her first studio CD in seven years.
Letting Go (Graylin/RED/Thirty Tigers) lands on May 11, backed by a co-headline tour alongside
Derek Webb and Lilith Fair dates. The project is produced by
Derek Paul Moak (Mat Kearney, Martha Wainwright, Amy Grant).
HEATH GOES TO SPACE (SORTA)
It turns out NASA Endeavor crew pilot
Terry Virts is a huge fan of
Brandon Heath's music, using his smash hit "Give Me Your Eyes" as the crew's wake-up song in space. Heath even watched the shuttle launch with his family, in turn earning news coverage on Nashville's News Channel 5—

NEW NEWSBOYS EP ON THE WAY
While the
Newsboys are spending the current season on the Winter Jam tour, the Aussie-bred troupe (which recently tag teamed with
Michael Tait as new lead singer) are also hitting the studio for the first time together. The aptly titled
Born Again (Inpop) lands June 8, marking the multi-generation spanning band's 15th overall studio CD.
