BECKER RETURNS TO THE ROAD
Singer/songwriter
Margaret Becker returns to the limelight thanks to the Bloom Tour 2010, which stretches from April through May and is billed as an evening of "story and song from the heart." The World Vision sponsored outing also features
JJ Heller and various musical friends to pop up on various evenings. And given Becker's double decade spanning career, plus her role as an artist mentor, there could be some spectacular surprises.
MYRIAD REQUESTS PRAYERS
Though
The Myriad was able to tour at the end of 2009, even in spite of drummer
Randy Miller's bone cancer, it appears as though the beat keeper's been side tracked once again. The band is urgently requesting prayers over the return of growing tumors that appear to be so intense that chemotherapy can't continue. Even in spite of the pain, Phillips remains steadfast in his faith, offering the following in a statement: "I don't always understand God, but I have to believe. No one can take that from me."
